Fort Worth Wedding Lighting, Drape, Decor at Fort Worth Hilton – Review

A fabulous review of our  Fort Worth lighting, drape, & decor for a wedding with planner Ebony Peoples and Shelly Binion from the Fort Worth Hilton.   Lovely bride, Teshia Pitts left this review on Wedding Wire!
“The lighting provided by Randy Ro was gorgeous! It totally transformed the room. Randy and his wife were great to work with and very flexible. Great job!”
Wedding: 06/29/2013
Randy’s Review:  Rockstar Planner, Ebony Peoples, was a pleasure to work with!  One of most detailed and awesome wedding planners in Dallas/Fort Worth, Ebony set a relaxed tone for a very quick room flip after the ceremony!  If you want a stress free wedding it’s nice to have a planner that doesn’t get stressed!  We were able to help transform the ballroom at the Hilton with uplighting, pin spotting the centerpieces, pin spotting the cakes, and projecting an Edwardian “L” onto the wall.  The nice thing about putting the monogram on the wall is that it shows up in photographs during the entire evening.  As always, the reason we were there is because of the couple, Teshia and Cornelius!  We are so lucky to get to do what we do!  I happened to stop by right before the ceremony and saw Teshia and her Dad (who was looking great in his military uniform) standing together, waiting to walk down the aisle.  I thought back to when I first met Teshia at our Colleyville office and she talk about Cornelius and her Dad and what she wanted for the wedding & reception.  It was great to see such an amazing event happening the way she envisioned!

Fort Worth Wedding DJ

Your guests are standing, cheering as you enter your reception!  You’ve just married your best friend and now it’s time for the party.  You’ve planned the most amazing wedding reception with your Fort Worth Wedding DJ!  Your DFW Wedding Venue  looks amazing with an amazing design of florals, Dallas lighting &  drape, linens, and the energy of your family and friends!   First, you’ll want to have your first dance as the new Mr. & Mrs!  A very nice flow for the evening is to do the Grand Entrance and go straight to your First
Dance.  (Traditionally it opens the dance floor for anyone that might want to dance before the  open dancing starts and it gets it out of the way in case you are nervous about it.  You’ll be able to enjoy the rest of your reception with out the pressure of an upcoming  performance.
What kind of song would you like to dance to for your First Dance?  Your Fort Worth Wedding DJ can help you select the right song, but remember, this is your wedding, dance to the song that means the most to you.  Usually there is a song that  you may have danced to on your first date or that you both like when it comes on the radio.  The other possibility is to go for the entertainment value and break out into something crazy!  You can start with a slow song, scratch it out, and go into a fun choreographed segment.  This can be just the two of you or you can bring in the wedding party in flash mob fashion. Either way, your guests will love it, feel totally entertained, and wonder what is coming next!
For couples that may be too shy for anything crazy and want a great picture, we suggest the Dancing on a Cloud First Dance.  You still pick your favorite song.  A few moments after you begin the dance floor will fill with a white cloud that you’ll be dancing in the middle of.  It’s an amazing picture and “Wow Factor” for your guests.  You didn’t have to choreograph anything and it makes the first dance way more interesting
The photo below was take at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth during the couples First Dance.

When your Grand Entrance & First Dance are over you’ve just set the tone for an extraordinary wedding reception.  Now it’s off to dinner and an awesome party!

As Beautiful Inside as Out…

Once again, I am proud of the fact that our Colleyville Wedding DJTeam did an outstanding job on Crystal and Nate’s wedding!  By the way, Nate is a cool guy!  He flys for the Air Force and is as nice as Crystal..wait, is that possible?)  The ceremony and reception were at Piazza in the Village, across the street from our Colleyville Wedding Planning office.  The Piazza is an amazing venue, with incredible food, and the most attentive staff!  It always feels like home when we DJ there.  : )

The Team:
Venue: Piazza in the Village
Florals:  Ed Barrett, Signature Productions
Photographer: Stefani “Vaughan” Peterson, TRU Identity Photography & Designs
Colleyville Wedding Videographer:  Randy Ro Entertainment
MC/DJ:  Randy Ro Entertainment
Cake: Opulent Cakes

This was a busy night for us.  I was at Ashton Gardens, Bob at Old Red Museum,  and Mike did the ceremony and Fort Worth wedding reception DJ services at Fossil Creek Country Club.  Great night to be a Dallas Wedding DJ!

Texas Wedding Guide, Brides of North Texas, D WEddings, Grace Ormonde

Weddings that Fort Worth Wedding DJ, Randy Ro Entertainment is involved with are frequently featured in wedding magazines.  It’s not uncommon to see 10 featured weddings and we may have done 3 or 4 of them.  It’s also not uncommon that we don’t get mentioned in the articles.  That is usually reserved for the paid advertisers.  We are frequently mentioned and  featured in the Texas Wedding Guide, who we are partnering with for the Dream Wedding Give Away and several other projects.

It was great to see us mentioned in this “Real Wedding” on D Magazines website!   Lindsey and Ryan were married at the Robert Carr Chapel and the reception followed at The Colonial Country Club.  They selected a great team of vendors.   It was our pleasure to provide MC/DJ, Lighting, and Videography services for them.

PSU Vikings, Dallas Cowboy, Kansas City Chief, Tony Curtis

Angelina and Tony Curtis had a specific picture in mind when we were booked to do the lighting decor for their reception at the Piazza in the Village. Angelina later said the room looked just like she imagined!  (By the way, her inspiration came from my favorite, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine)

We can help make your dreams come true. What can you imagine?

City Club Wedding for Kristen & Brandon

I met with Kristen and Brandon on Sunday (before the Cowboy’s game!) to start planning for what is going to be a great reception at City Club in Fort Worth.  Today their engagement pictures were posted by their outstanding photographer, Tracy Autem at Lightly Photography.  I can’t wait to see the Ceremony and Reception pictures!   http://lightlyphoto.blogspot.com/2008/11/kristen-brandon-engaged.html
